Huons has received recognition for its efforts in enhancing sustainability. The company announced on the 30th that it has achieved a comprehensive A (excellent) grade in the 2024 ESG evaluation recently released by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS).

The KCGS conducts annual assessments of domestic listed companies' ESG management across three sectors: Environmental, Social, and Governance. This year, Huons improved its ratings significantly, moving from a 'C' to an 'A' in the Environmental category, and from a 'B+' to an 'A' in the Social category, while maintaining its 'B+' rating in Governance.

In the Environmental sector, Huons established and implemented long-term goals and strategies for environmental management. The company has engaged in employee training on environmental management, launched campaigns during Environmental Day, and participated in domestic environmental initiatives. Additionally, it has reduced greenhouse gas emissions, waste output, and water usage through upgrading aging facilities, replacing lighting with LED technology, and enhancing internal management standards.

In the Social sector, as part of its commitment to responsible management, Huons has forged partnerships with welfare facilities in Seongnam and Jecheon, where its offices are located, to promote community well-being through various charitable activities. The company also supports healthcare initiatives for vulnerable populations, provides educational opportunities, and assists multicultural families, contributing to local community development and economic revitalization.
