Huons Group’s First Overseas Manufacturing Facility Set for Full Operation in Early 2025

HuM&C Ltd. (CEO Jun-Cheol Kim), a healthcare materials specialist under Huons Group, recently held a dedication ceremony to mark the completion of its first overseas production plant, HuM&C Vina, located in Vietnam.
The Vietnam facility, spanning 4,500 square meters, was constructed within eight months following its corporate registration in November 2023. With an investment of approximately $4.8 million, the plant is equipped to produce 60 million vials and 80 million cartridges annually—roughly 70% of the capacity of HuM&C’s Nonsan plant. Full-scale production is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
During the ceremony, Sung-tae Yoon, Chairman of Huons Group, praised employees for their contributions and inspected the site. “This marks a significant step in establishing a global production base for Huons Group,” he stated. “I encourage all employees to prepare thoroughly for the start of full operations next year.”
HuM&C Vina is expected to bolster the company’s production capacity, enabling it to attract new clients and expand its business portfolio.
HuM&C specializes in medical glass containers, producing ampoules, vials, and cartridges, as well as cosmetic accessories like makeup sponges and puffs. The company boasts Korea’s only one-stop production line capable of formulating and manufacturing NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) products in-house.
