CEO Seok-Geun Yoon Announces Major Reforms and Recruitment Drive to Celebrate 70th Anniversary

CEO Seok-Geun Yoon of Ilsung IS, a second-generation entrepreneur, has made a bold decision to steer the company's future away from the inertia typical of the South Korean industry.

On July 18th, CEO Yoon declared, "We will transition from an owner-centric management style to a company where ownership and management are separate. We aim to create a transparent and autonomous company that practices sharing." He also announced a significant recruitment drive to find candidates for future leadership roles.

Founded in 1954, Ilsung IS has established itself as a prominent mid-sized pharmaceutical company in South Korea. This year, marking its 70th anniversary, the company is rebranding from Ilsung Pharm to Ilsung IS as part of its new growth strategy.

Ilsung IS plans to break away from traditional expert recruitment practices and will seek talent across all its business sectors, including pharmaceuticals, asset management, and real estate development.

Ilseong IS has outlined the qualities they desire in their ideal candidates:

① Individuals who work joyfully with a sense of ownership and passion.

② Leaders who guide their teams with a sense of responsibility and self-sacrifice.

③ Communicators who possess intellectual humility and strong interpersonal skills.

④ Motivated individuals who embrace challenges and actively execute their duties.

The company emphasized that this recruitment drive aims to enhance competitiveness and stability through the separation of ownership and management, presenting a new vision befitting its 70th anniversary.

The recruitment for future leadership candidates at Ilsung IS will take place from July 18 to August 18. Applicants born between 1978 and 1990 who aspire to become future leaders can download the application form from the Ilsung IS website and submit it directly to the CEO.
