PharmaResearch (Co-CEOs Ki-Seok Kang and Shin-Gyu Kim) announced on September 5th that it has secured $149 million through the issuance of redeemable convertible preferred stock (RCPS) from European private equity firm CVC. The funds will accelerate PharmaResearch's global expansion efforts, with CVC serving as a strategic partner to provide both capital and market expertise.

CVC, a prominent European private equity firm managing $209 billion in assets, has a successful track record in healthcare investments across Europe and global markets. PharmaResearch plans to leverage CVC's extensive network and market experience to strengthen its overseas operations. CVC will offer critical support to enhance PharmaResearch’s global competitiveness, helping the company enter new markets and expand its business.

The investment will focus on strategic overseas M&A activities, establishing local subsidiaries, and providing tailored services in key markets. PharmaResearch aims to increase its global market share and lay a solid foundation for meeting diverse consumer needs.

Additionally, the collaboration with CVC will significantly boost PharmaResearch's R&D investment, channeling resources toward developing new products and improving existing ones. The company expects these efforts to enhance its global competitiveness and secure innovative technologies.

CEO Shin-Gyu Kim emphasized that the partnership with CVC will help PharmaResearch deliver more differentiated value to its international customers, solidifying its position in the global market.
